TEACHER

Stef Minnebo (°1958) teaches classical guitar, electric guitar, ensembles and jazztheory in Antwerp and (until 2019) Heist op den Berg. In the latter he started the jazz and pop division and coordinated for 10 years.

From 1999 until 2009 he taught arrangement, composition and Finale (notation software) at Artesis Plantijn Hogeschool Antwerpen.

For 18 years he was teacher and coordinator of the Jazz and Pop summercamp in Dworp (near Brussels), a now terminated initiative by Youth and Music Antwerp.

MUSICIAN

He was guitarist and co- arranger in the North Side Bigband, did freelance work with Flemish artists and is guestsoloist/ conductor in all kinds of band settings.

COMPOSER

As a composer- arranger he wrote dozens of published and/ or recorded works for choir, youth orchestra, guitar, wind orchestra, symphonic orchestra, bigband, plus numerous unpublished works in all levels of difficulty.

His style is a combination of classical elements, jazz and World music.

In 1993 he received the Belgian Artistic Promotion award, offered by SABAM.
